Labor takes seriously the need to improve active transport safety.

Labor has already made a number of announcements regarding specific cycling and pedestrian safety upgrades, and we will have more to say in the lead up to the election.

Catherine King, Labor’s Shadow Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development is engaging with local organisations and will closely consider the priorities of the Amy Gillett Foundation and other cycling representative groups.
